About

Welcome to networkingtipsblog.com- A community for networking professionals and system administrators.

This is a blog that covers topics like computer networking, Voice over IP and more.

I have been addicted to computers ever since I got my hands on my first PC some 8 years back. Since then I have been exploring computers in all aspects. As they say, failure is the stepping stone to success. I have learned from my mistakes (Must have crashed my computer at least a 1000 times) and my passion for computers, networking and security is just as it was when I got my first computer.

My passion for computers led me to take my Computer Science and Engineering Degree. When most of my friends were hooked with computer games, I was more interested in the security aspects as well as the possibilities of computer networking. I began developing a deep passion for computer networks when I started studying it for my engineering program. As a result of my passion for networking, I got hired in one of the most reputable firms and now I am in their Voice over IP team.

Now you may ask, if I am that much interested in networking, then why go into VoIP. Actually I was a bit disappointed at first. I did not know much about VoIP and wanted to jump to networking. However, when I got to know more about the technology, I started developing an interest for it.

VoIP interests me very much right now. I am no guru in networking or anything. In fact I am just a beginner. I share with everyone what I learn. I believe that sharing is a win-win situation. The more I share, more my knowledge get’s re in-forced and at the same time help a few others as well.

This blog will cover more of networking and VoIP. I am not sure how far I can share my knowledge in Voice over IP since I dont have CUCM, Unity connections or related at my home. So no screenshots. It’s more like GUI based.

You can connect with me through this blog, ask questions and share your thoughts. I believe in a combined growth where each of our inputs contribute to another one’s growth. The more we give to others, the more we get back in return. That is the sole purpose of this networking blog. To share what I have learned and help each other.
